Novi Sad European Capital of Culture 2022
In 2022, Novi Sad will take the prestigious title of European Capital of Culture, together with Kaunas (Lithuania) and Ash (Luxembourg).
In the ceremonial program directed by prof. Aleksandar Nikolić and choreography by prof. Aleksandar Ilić will be performed by eminent representatives of the Novi Sad and Vojvodina cultural scene, including the Ballet and Opera of the Serbian National Theater, Aradačka meškarka, percussionist ensemble “dRumble”, Tamburitza Orchestra “Velos”, Aleksandar Bahun on piano, Todor Ursu on cymbal and Dance Association Gruv .
The program will be attended by numerous guests from all over Europe, representatives of former, current, and future cultural capitals, ambassadors of countries from around the world, foreign journalists, state leaders, as well as numerous guests of Serbian Athens. the entire program of Novi Sad as the European Capital of Culture through a total of eight, thematically oriented program arches, i.e. whole.
Along with professor Aleksandar Radulović, students of the Belgrade Dance Institute Tamara Ljesar and Nevena Antić will also perform, and the assistant choreographer is Mojca Majcen.
The scenography is signed by Dunja Kostić, and the costume by Senka Ranisavljević.
The program can be seen on the Radio Television of Serbia from 6 pm on the Second Program of the Radio Television of Serbia and the First Program of the Radio Television of Vojvodina.
