International Scientific and Professional Conference – Importance of European Integration for Security, Education, Innovation and Ecology was held at the School of Engineering Management, October 31, 2025.
The Conference was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević, Dean of the School of Engineering Management, who welcomed numerous dignitaries and visitors. In the introductory part those present were addressed by Plamena Halačeva, the Deputy Head of the EU Delegation in Serbia, Nemanja Starović, Minister for European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Sandra Božić, Vice President Government of AP Vojvodina.
Panels were held on issues of European integration through education and innovation, through security and through ecology. The participants of the panels were representatives of the government, the economic sector and the educational system. Some of the panelists were Prof. Dr. Rastislav Stojsavljević, Ministry of Science and Technological Development, Dr. Aleksandra Tomić, Member of Parliament, Dr. Miloš Petrašinović, Director of PR – Development Center, Prof. Dr. Ilia Životić, Prof. Dr. Katarina Štrbac and Prof. Dr. Sunčica Vještica from the School of Engineering Management, Dalibor Arbutina, Director of JP Nuclear Facilities of Serbia, Darko Obradović from the Center for Strategic Analysis, Aleksandra Imširagić Đurić Assistant Minister, Ministry of Environment, Prof. Dr. Jasmina Madžgaj, from the Belgrade City Secretariat for Ecology and Dr. Nikola Smaltik from the Heidelberg University.
The Conference was organized in cooperation with the Ministry for European Integration of the Government of the Republic Serbia.
