
Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević opened the Belgrade Security and Intelligence Forum
On March 27, the Dean, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević and Prof. Dr. Darko Trifunović opened the Belgrade Security and Intelligence Forum dedicated to professors, scientists and experts in the fields of Security, Intelligence, Defense and Counterterrorism.
BSIF International Scientific Meeting, organized by the Institute for National and International Security, in cooperation with partners such as: the University of Warsaw, Poland; Zagreb Security Forum, Croatia; Krakow Security Forum (The Higher School of Public and Individual Security “Apeiron”, Poland); Óbuda University, Hungary; Lviv University, Ukraine; Research Institute for European and American Studies RIEAS, Greece; Faculty of Security Studies, N. Macedonia; University St. Nikola, N. Macedonia; Catholic University Holly Heart, Italy; Bar Illan University, Israel; University of South Denmark, Denmark; New University, Slovenia and School of Engineering Management aims to achieve in one place the exchange and synergy of knowledge and experiences of experts and world-renowned scientists and professors.
The Belgrade Security and Intelligence Forum takes place from March 27 to 29, 2025; the program includes panel discussions, round tables according to Chatham House rules and dozens of bilateral meetings – designed to find answers to current security, intelligence and defense issues, to existing internal and external risk factors and threats, taking into account possible predictions. BSIF promotes safety science as a theory-based science that has its own general and specific methods. It is impossible to do Security, Defence, or Intelligence Studies without Security Science. At the same time, BSIF has as one of its priorities the role and position of women in the national security system.
