Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomasevic receives the INIS Golden Award

At the Second Belgrade Security Forum, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomasevic, was awarded the INIS Golden Award after a plenry session. It was presented to him by the INIS President, Prof. Dr. Darko Trifunović for his exceptional commitment to the promotion of Security Science and Security Culture.

The Institute has over 120 members, world-class experts, professors, and scientists from over 40 countries.

They all integrate their competencies in the form of knowledge, attitudes, skills, and experience concerning the following areas: Security, Intelligence, Counter-Intelligence, Counter Terrorism, Geopolitics, Hybrid warfare, Radicalization and de-radicalization, Nuclear Security, Critical Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Space security and Artificial intelligence security.

The Institute of Security Studies is a constituent organizational unit of the Faculty of Security Studies, University of Belgrade. The Institute of Security Studies, with its numerous members and scientific impact, vastly outgrew the Faculty of Security Studies and, in 2018, continued its activities and development independently with a new name: INIS –Institute of National and International Security, keeping strong ties with Faculty of Mathematics University of Belgrade, Faculty of Geography University of Belgrade and with a large number of universities, faculties, and scientific institutes from all over the world, which gives INIS a significant international scientific impact.

The Institute of National and International Security is a Scientific, academic society that promotes Security Science. The Institute was recognized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development (registration number: 451-03-2481/2019-14). Also, the Institute has an exclusive contract with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia to promote the concept of "Scientific diplomacy."
