New Master’s Studies – Engineering and Security Management

On the basis of an earlier agreement on cooperation between the Institute for National and International Security and the School of Engineering Management, it was agreed that the joint realization of the teaching program of graduate studies Engineering and Security Management.

Master program Engineering and Security Management combines political, economic, social, psychological and many other aspects of security, lasts one academic year and has 60 ESPB.

The aim of the program is to educate and train students in the field of security and engineering management in order to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for a comprehensive understanding of the management of complex security business systems based on engineering principles and strategic thinking in order to ensure technological, economic and social development.

Master’s studies in security at the School of Engineering Management train students to work in the field of security in state administration institutions, the media, the non-governmental sector, educational institutions, scientific research centers. The training combines the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge through various interactive and creative forms of learning in the field of security systems, political systems, crisis management, political violence and other aspects of integral security.

Diploma: upon completion of the study program, students are awarded a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the field of Security.

Students who have acquired at least 240 ECTS in previous studies of academic education can enroll in the study program.

The implementation of the teaching program was agreed by Prof. Dr. Darko Trifunović, Director of the Institute for National and International Security, and Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević, Dean of the School of Engineering Management.
