Prof. dr. Komlen Lalović, professor of Information and Communication Technologies at the School of Engineering Management, is the creator of the device against theft of babies, which aims to prove motherhood at birth.
The device works by taking the fingerprint of the mother and baby at birth, and they are encrypted and stored in a database. When leaving the maternity hospital, verification is performed and the identity is guaranteed with 100% accuracy.
