Three Nominations from the School for the Belgrade City Award

This year, the most candidates from the School ever applied for the City of Belgrade Award. In the short selection from the field of architecture there is the monograph Interior of the Ship “Sveti Stefan”: Ship Elements in the Function of the Ship’s Interior, by Gorica Ljubenov, published by the School of Engineering Management, from the field of literature the novel Tamers of Time, by Miomir Petrović, professor of the School of Engineering Management and the Belgrade Dance Institute. The dance show Femine, by choreographers Rita Gobi from Hungary and Aleksandra Madsen from Croatia, guest lecturers of the Belgrade Dance Institute, performed by students of the Belgrade Dance Institute is in the short selection for Young Artists.

The Belgrade City Award “Despot Stefan Lazarevic” is awarded for a work that represents the most valuable achievement in art, science, medicine, architecture and urbanism, agriculture, journalism, education, sports and environmental protection. The award of the City of Belgrade is also awarded for a heroic deed, for long-term work and lasting contribution to the development, and implementation of important events for the City of Belgrade.

The Belgrade City Award “Despot Stefan Lazarevic” is an award that the City of Belgrade awards in mid-April every year, for the previous year. It was awarded for the first time in 2002. This award is the successor to the October Award of the City of Belgrade.
