13th EPIEM conference

Today is the thirteenth conference of the organization EPIEM (European Professors of Industrial Engineering and Management), in which professors of the School of Engineering Management also participate.

The conference is held virtually, and the organizer of the conference is the Universitatea Politehnica Bucuresti, the conference participants were greeted by the rector of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, prof. Dr. Milnea Costoiu, President of EPIEM, prof. Dr. Bernd Zunk from the Technical University of Graz, as well as the main organizer of the conference prof. Dr. Cristian Mustata.

Through two sessions, conference participants present topics related to industrial engineering and engineering management, such as: linking theory and practice, sustainable development, innovation, supply chain, personalities and jobs, sustainable education and higher education institutions.

At the end of the conference, a discussion will be held on the development of joint projects within the EPIEM organization.

The conference is attended by Prof. Dr. Vladimir Tomašević, Prof. Dr Srdjan Tomic and Prof. Dr. Tatjana Ilić-Kosanović, who participated in previous EPIEM conferences held in 2017 and 2019 at the University of Aveiro in Portugal.
