The Lecture “Nanotechnology – Basic Concepts and Application”

Dr. Nenad Filipovic from the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts held a guest lecture today for students of the first, second and third year. The topic of the lecture was Nanotechnology – Basic Concepts and Applications.

Dr. Filipović presented the concepts of nanotechnology and nanomaterials, current and future generations of nanomaterials, the application of nanotechnology in controlled drug delivery, stem cell therapy, diagnostic systems, and other areas. He pointed out the need for commercialization of nanotechnology and presented the model of commercialization of products of nanotechnology in 10 steps.
