Use of Scientific Databases in the Academic Library

Jelena Mitić, Chief Librarian, presented a paper on the topic – Use of scientific databases in the academic library – example of the School of Engineering Management Library, at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology PhD studies, within the subject Book – traditional and electronic.

The paper shows how technological innovations reflect in the work of academic libraries: the relationship between the use of traditional literature and electronic databases, the use of EBSCO scientific databases, the importance of a comprehensive approach in library activities and connecting with related institutions.

From the end of 2018, the School of Engineering Management provides access to the EBSCO database, from the School location.
