Profesor Verica Savić učestvovala je 25. novembera 2017. u radionici na temu Feminism, Knowledge Production and Social Change: Critical perspectives from the Semiperiphery of Europe u organizaciji Instituta za sociološke nauke u Beogradu, povodom prijema istraživačkog rada The particularities of feminist discourse in semi-periphery (in Cuba) as a consequence of the social context in which it is generated za naučni časopis Sociologija.
